NEWCOMERS
All newcomers (7 years old and over) can attend the FIRST TWO training sessions free, after which the session prices are as follows : – As from April 2022 membership and training fees are all calculated within a monthly payment scheme paid directly into the clubs Bank Account. For all competing members (Under 13’s and over) there will be a one off payment for competition registration. For those who prefer to remain as guests, the training fee will be £3.00 per person per session. Parents are encouraged to come along as guests to use the track for jogging sessions whilst the youngsters are being coached in their events. Members of road and fell running clubs are welcome to join us for the Track & Field season as Second Claim Members (Fees Apply).
PARENTS AND SPECTATORS
Unless under Coach supervision parents & spectators not using the track must stay outside the track fence at all times and also, be aware of all other athletes using the Track and Throwing areas.
TRACK RULES FOR ALL USERS
Sprinters use lanes 1 and 2 – Middle distance runners use lanes 3 and 4 – Joggers and warm up sessions use lanes 5 and 6 – The Under 11’s group will also be using lanes 5 and 6 when using the whole 400 mtrs. No running across the Field or Track in front of any Athletes who are training.
MEMBERSHIP FORMS
Once you have applied to be a member, you will receive an email, in which the following will be attached: A welcome letter, Code of Conduct forms for child and parent/guardian, membership and kit forms, membership and clothing price list, photo policy and the club banking details.
UNDER 11’S WINTER TRAINING
From the first Monday in November to the last Monday of the following February the under 11’s will be training indoors (the venue to be set and announced yearly). There will be no training for the under 11’s on Thursdays unless this has been previously arranged with your Team Leader and Coach.
Those U11’s who will be U13’s in the following season and competing will be welcome to train throughout the winter with the older Athletes on Monday and Thursday evenings.
